‘Tis the season for adorable bunnies…I made these sweet bunnies for Easter brunch back in 2003 (love my uber-cheap, so-not-a-good-color melamine plates!). Of course, I’ve lost the recipe, but I imagine it could be recreated with any sweet bread recipe, like the one for Portuguese Easter Bread found here, and any basic icing recipe for the buttons and whiskers. Although you should never give a bunny or chick as an Easter gift (too many are abandoned once the seasonal excitement wears off), if you want to ADOPT a bunny, (or just look at some really cute pictures of them!), check out the website for Best Friends Animal Society.
