Bleh..I guess since this was the Odds and Ends we could go Off topic? I’m not really sure since not a lot of people post here.

BUT

If you’re over 18 and in the US I hope you’re registered to vote. This is a really imortant election year and we should all excercise our right as citizens to elect our leaders smile

vote! vote! vote!

:D

I’m pretty sure you can post anything off topic here whatever it may be. I live in Canada and just voted in our lame election but I have to say that the U.S. election is much more exciting. I’m a McCain supporter but there is no doubt in my mind that either of these two gentlemen would be great Presidents.

Wow! McCain? Me too!  Ithought I was the only one out there! LOL

Obama got it by a landslide though, something I knew he would! It was obvious!

Just curious, how long did you have to wait to cast your vote.  Were you one of the many waiting in line for hours or were you in and out?

I waited and went at an odd time, around 10 am, so most people were at work so thankfully I was in and out. On my way to work in the morning however, I did see a few voting places that had lines wrapped around the buildings and I do know of a few people who did have to wait in long lines and people who had to park miles away from their voting place because of the limited parking. I heard on the radio that most people were going before work, at lunch time and then of course at 5pm so I strategically went in between those times to avoid the crowd lol.
