July 23rd 2008 Comments (0)

“As I mentioned, I was a little nervous to chat with Autumn. But when she called, it happened to be such a pleasant conversation. We talked movies, we talked family and we just talked about all sorts of stuff. She is absolutely charming and pretty damn beautiful, all rolled into one. I might even have to check out “The O.C.” just to see the role that made her famous. So check it out, and when THE LOST BOYS 2 comes out on July 29th… you might want to check it out also.”

Autumn appears in the new Maxim (August 2008) in a section called “My First Time.” Enjoy this excerpt:

“First Bite: In Lost Boys: The Tribe, my brother is on a quest to save me before I feed.  Apparently, once you drink the blood of another, you’re solidified as a vampire.  I read a lot of vampire lore, like the Anne Rice stuff.  I was always carrying one of her books on set with me.”

Hi, guys!
OK, I can’t figure out how to get a photo of Gatsby on here bc the photo upload feature isn’t working, but my guys are trying to fix it.  I promise I will post the pic at some point bc it’s so freakin cute!  In other news, I wanted you all to know that ‘Valentine’ was cancelled this week.  There are still four more episodes to air, and the company intends to do that, so you can watch them through the end of November.  I feel like there are some amazing things coming my way, so although I’ll miss seeing the cast every day, something new is coming.  smile And of course I will keep you all updated on that!!

Valentine Tonight!
October 19th 2008 Comments (6)

Hello!  Don’t forget to check out episode 3 of ‘Valentine’ tonight (Sunday) at 8pm!  Random fact: Ryan Devlin (who guest stars this week as a theater owner) ---- played my college-student boyfriend in a never-seen pilot called ‘The World According to Barnes’.  Currently ‘Valentine’ is taking about a month hiatus from shooting, so while it’s a little sad that I don’t get to see the cast everyday, it will give me some nice time to catch up on other things.  My office is a disaster!!  But first I launched my time off with a trip to the mountains this weekend, to hike and breathe some fresh air-- it was so fabulous!  Hope you all got in some good rest this weekend, too.

Random Wednesday Post
October 08th 2008 Comments (5)

Thank you for all the well-wishes on ‘Valentine’!!  I’ll let you guys know when I have any updates on it-- watch again this Sunday at 8 for a fun ‘Bollywood’-style episode!
Some random multi-media things:  I want to find a little free time tonight to play ‘Katamari’ on the XBox-- kind of obsessed with it!  Has anyone played it?  I even taught it to my mom when she was visiting me recently, and it was really cute to see her playing a videogame. smile I just joined my friend’s book club, where we’re assigned to read ‘Away’, ‘Murder of a Medici Princess’, and ‘The Time Traveler’s Wife’.  I read that last one a couple years ago, loved it, and cannot wait to see the movie with Rachel McAdams (love her!)!  Have to get started on the other two… Anyone read them?  I heard today there’s a movie being made out of ‘On The Road’-- I would love to be a part of that film, so I’m trying to get the scoop about how I can get in on it… There aren’t many films at all being made currently, but at least there are some good ones out in the theater-- ‘Rachel Getting Married’ looks great, I’ll try to get to that one this weekend… smile

‘Valentine’ starts airing this Sunday night at 8pm on the CW… I haven’t seen the finished product yet, but I have had a ton of fun shooting it!  I play Phoebe, the goddess of the Oracle, and I’m including some backstage pics for you guys.  smile (first time I’ve uploaded pics here myself, so hopefully I can manage it!)

New York
September 13th 2008 Comments (9)

Hi, guys!  Thanks for all the great comments.  smile
I’m taking off in the morning for just one day in New York, to attend the premiere of Laurie Metcalf’s new show, ‘Easy Money’ which will air immediately following ‘Valentine’.  BTW, the premiere of ‘Val’ has been pushed to Sunday, October 5th at 8pm, in order to avoid airing the same night as the Emmys… so you’ll have to wait a little while longer, but it will be worth it. smile I’ve been taking pictures on the set, so hopefully I’ll be able to post some this week!  Tonight, I’m going to the Arclight to see ‘Man on Wire’… anyone seen it yet?  I’m afraid of heights, so it looks a bit scary to me, actually, but I hear it’s great so I’ve decided to brave it.  smile
Have a good week, everyone!

A

Hi, friends!!
August 24th 2008 Comments (6)

Just wanted to write a quick hello to everyone who has been stopping by the site!  Hi, guys!  smile
I flew back about 3 hours ago from a weekend in San Francisco, seeing Radiohead, Regina Spektor, Ben Harper, and Tom Petty (yay, so many of my faves in one place!) at the Outside Lands festival-- I had such a great time!!!  Did anyone else happen to go this weekend?  Wasn’t it crazy??
smile
It was extremely nice to have a 3 day break, and get moving all around the city after being hard at work on ‘Valentine’ for the past month… It has been going really, really well-- I adore the rest of my cast-- they are such pros & really wonderful people. The second episode is my favorite so far, because we have a huge Bollywood routine that was soooooo amazing to shoot-- the series is just deliciously magical.  smile You can start seeing episodes on Sept 21st…
Well, I am going to have a bath & a glass of wine & get some sleep for work this week!  Let me know what all of you are up to in these last few weeks of the summer!!!  It’s almost over!!!
xo,
Autumn

Hello!  It’s my first blog of my new website!  I am so excited to have it up and running JUST in time to keep you all posted on the 2 movies I have coming out this summer!  There will be lots of updates & inside scoop & hopefully pictures (if I can figure out how to post them)!  I consider myself technologically savvy, and yet, computers often seem to suffer small meltdowns in my hands, so here’s hoping I avoid that!!  smile I’ll start you off with a list of the websites I’m frequenting lately:  www.imdbpro.com (for actor’s/producers negotiation updates), www.etsy.com (an amazing handmade shopping site!), www.weddingbee.com (my current favorite blogging site), www.anthropologie.com (cute clothes right now) and http://www.Netflix.com (I’ve been watching a lot of old movies).  smile If I find any other new & exciting sites, I’ll post them-- you do the same!  I’m looking forward to being able to keep in touch with you all & keep you updated on all the latest!
